During World war one there were many new innovations that changed their society. For example the machine gun was an invention that fired many bullets without the need to reload many times. They also created a new fighting method by introducing trench system. These trenches were organized in a zigzag pattern with soldiers inside and thus prevented the enemy to advance.

Societies changed in many ways during the Industrial revolution. For example they changed many things like creating new technology and developments. For example, they made the seed drill which revolutionized farming. The seed drill was carried by horses and threw seeds in the ground and this did the job of many people in a short amount of time. Another innovation during the industrial revolution was the steam engine, the steam engine made transportation easy and very fast. Also this invention made trade veryfast. Because of the workers who moved near the factories they made cities with new buildings and inventions. There were also many factories which increased the production of goods by a great deal.
